Sailing cancelled for Saturday (Jan 28)
In light of the heavy rain over the past few days and the prospect of elevated river levels extending into the weekend, sailing for this Saturday has been cancelled.The next calendar event is the Club Championship round on Saturday, Feb 4. The last racing event was the opening races of the Post Xmas Point Score (Jan 20), where Chris Culph and Alison Ostenfeld made a clean sweep of the senior and junior divisions respectively. | Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) |
Regardless of the sport there are rules of some description and sailing is no exception, however the Racing Rules of Sailing are not as easily learnt or understood as perhaps in other sports.
